Dr Shrerama and her assistant were very caring and gentle. My cat Symba was worried, as she is at any doctor appointment, yet calm. The environment gives off a welcoming energy. Upon entry, Casper greeted Symba to let her know it is a genuine place to relax.

I can’t write a review because I have no way to say The Best Veterinary service and care for our pets. I have been to this hospital since 2005. If you want the best care in Philadelphia for your pets please pick The Cat Doctor. I was just there yesterday and my girl is much better off. Love to all the people who work there!

I believe we have finally found our ideal vet resource in Philly! Our normally ravenous and overweight feline, Elsa, wasn't eating properly. Normally, Elsa is a terror among vets and even earned the title 'Jailbreaker' by escaping her cage at PennVet. But Dr. Jones seemed quite calm about confronting Elsa's inner beast and I believe that Elsa picked up on the vibe by providing a peaceful experience, wrapped in a blanket. Maybe the overall home-like ambiance of the establishment had something to do with it also. But handling wasn't the only plus. It was refreshing to have the exam performed in front of us instead of in a back room. I believe there is value in that. The diagnosis seemed very reasonable and it was communicated clearly, allowing options if we wanted to pursue them but not advocating additional diagnostic services (e.g. x-rays, sonagrams, whatever). Even the fee was very inexpensive. Hard to find anything not to like about the visit and we intend to rely of The Cat Doctor for our ongoing veterinary care. The practice is certified by two excellent rating organizations and you can see the other ratings on Google. What's not to like? Thanks Dr. Jones and thanks Cat Doctor!

It has taken me some time to write this review after the loss of my beloved cat, Lili on December 6th last year. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Beiting and the entire veterinary team for the care, patience, and professionalism they showed Lili throughout her illness. Lili was very sassy and spicy and never enjoyed vet visits, but they always treated her with kindness and understanding. When it came time to say goodbye, Dr. Goin was incredibly compassionate during Lili’s euthanasia and made one of the hardest moments a little more peaceful. The veterinary assistant that day was wonderful and even remembered Lili from a previous visit, calling her “spicy Lili,” which made me smile in the middle of my grief. The front desk lady on Sat 12/6/25 was also very kind and supportive during such a difficult day. I will always be thankful for the dignity, warmth, and care they gave Lili until the very end. Also thank you for the card. It meant a lot to me.

I’ve been taking my two cats here for years and they’ve always been very well taken care of. All of the staff is incredibly friendly and the office cats are super sweet!

The Vets at The Cat Doctor are the best. She took so much time with our cats and I feel like they got a great exam. She was great at explaining things to us. I think everyone should take their cats to the Cat Doctor. Dr. Martin was so gentle and the Vet Tech was so caring and soothing. What a great experience for us and our cats.

My cats are not a fan of the vet, but they do so well here. Everyone from check-in to check-out is thorough and kind. I appreciate the extra attention and patience they give my furry children, especially with my senior kitty. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Cat Doctor for many years. Everyone there is very knowledgeable, kind, and great with cats and their people. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
